Epic Meal Empire

Looking to add a bit of crazy and entertainment to your meal? Epic Meal Empire is said to be a, “Jackass meets Food Network” and is sure to leave you shocked and amazed. The show got its start as a youtube sensation with its weekly webisodes and nearly 6 million followers, that eventually became the number one cooking show online.  What was previously just 4 guys, Harley Morenstein, aka the “Sauce Boss”, Josh Elkin, Dave Heuff and Ameer Atari, experimenting in a kitchen, has now become a full video production company with its own prime time television show. In the t.v. premiere the team builds a “Taterbot” for a group of young kids, completely comprised of grilled cheese sandwiches, bacon, licorice, hot dogs and more. Did we mention they deliver their concoctions in a food truck made from a converted ambulance, fully equipped with a meat shooting launcher atop?  The show airs on Saturdays at 10ET/11PT, be sure to watch to see what “epic” levels they will take their next dishes to.

Cutthroat Kitchen

Cutthroat Kitchen is a merciless show full of intense flavors and ruthless sabotage. Hosted by Alton Brown, of the classic show Good Eats, four chefs are given $25,000 which they can use throughout the show to gain advantages or to undermine any chance their competitors have at winning. Sabotage comes in endless forms, from forcing chefs to give up all of their ingredients, having to use a miniature kitchen or only being able to use a set of knives attached to chains and a small cutting board, all causing the demolition of great dishes. In one episode of Cutthroat Kitchen a chef has to give up all of his cooking utensils and is allowed to only use the items in a golf set, in the midst of composing a meal. The question is how much are they willing to spend on sabotage in order to win it all?
