Coachella -ella-ella

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

We were happy to see some of our favorite vendors out at Coachella this year.

Green Truck was serving Mother Truckers in VIP.

Coolhaus was stacking people with ice cream sandos also in VIP.

Louks was getting dirty in the camping area near Border Grill Truck.

Kogi stopped by.

Gastropod Miami held down the beer garden and drove cross country.

Can’t wait for next year already….

Arrive early, because it’s going to sell out.

“We can’t wait to bring Comme Ca’s cuisine to the people of LA in a unique way,” said Chef David Myers from Comme Ca. “Cart For A Cause is such a special initiative – and we are thrilled that so many of Los Angeles’ top chefs and restaurants have rallied behind this effort. We are thrilled to be in such great company,” added Chef Dong Choi.

David Myers and Dong Choi’s delectable meals will be served from the Cart For A Cause food-truck on Tuesday, April 6 from 12pm to 2:30pm at the Pacific Design Center (8687 Melrose Ave, West Hollywood). Only 150 meals will be served.

Welcome to Americana

Saturday, April 3rd, 2010

The Americana at Brand played hostess to an influx of food trucks and roamers (street foodies) this week.

This is the first example of a competitive entity, a mall, fully embracing the food truck community and opening its doors to welcome a crowd of over 20k.

Thanks Americana.
