After School Special Truck is taking Mom food to the Streets of LA, with a Chef's touch! Founded in 2012 By James Campbell and Exec Chef James Bailey, JamesX2 are proudly donating a portion of proceeds to Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles.
The After School Special Truck was born after a collaboration of ideas between two James’, experienced hospitality food and beverage professionals James Campbell and Executive Chef James Bailey.
After both working for a combined 30 years in the hospitality industry throughout the United States and Canada, their paths crossed in Los Angeles, and a year later the After School Special Truck was born. Both James and James learned the art of cooking and a passion for food at a young age from every ones favorite teacher, their mothers.
With the sudden passing of Elizabeth “Betty” Campbell, James Campbell’s Mother and beloved Elementary School Teacher of 36 years, the two James’ teamed up to hit the streets of Los Angeles to offer and honor, as James Bailey puts it, “Mother Inspired Dishes with a Chef’s Touch.”
In Loving Memory of Elizabeth, for the thousands of children that she taught throughout her career, The After School Special Truck is proudly supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
