Roaming Hunger utilized food truck advertising in a partnership with American Well to create familiarity with the brand and incentivize downloads for their smartphone application by serving 1,200 homemade chicken soups in high-traffic locations during a 3-day activation. Seinfeld's Soup Nazi was also on-site for photo opportunities and media interviews throughout the promotion. During the promotion, the app was in the top-ten healthcare apps on iTunes due to the popularity of the event.
