If you’re a fan of food trucks and you’re in the Philadelphia area the first weekend of October, checking out the Phoenixville Food Truck Festival should be on your list of things to do. The annual event, located in the northwest suburbs of the City of Brotherly Love, happens this Saturday, October 3rd, from 12pm – 6pm in downtown Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. With just over 30 food truck vendors at your disposal, there will be a wide array of cuisines to select from that are sure to satisfy any palate.

Austin City Limits is a major festival that thousands of people flock to this year to hear music from an outstanding lineup. This month for two weekends, October 2nd-4th & October 9th-11th, the festival is taking over the city of Austin with not only music, but an entire art market with artisans selling their amazing goods and a food court with 30 vendors, including a few our favorite food trucks which you can find below.
The Just Jersey Food Truck and Music Festival is back at it again with great music and great food on October 10th from 10am – 6:30pm. Expect great music from the four bands taking the stage throughout the day and amazing food. The festival will have about 25 food vendors dishing out their goods ranging from frozen treats to breakfast delights.
The Black Light Run, taking place on October 17th in Philly, is sure to be like no other run you’ve ever experienced. This 5K will definitely be less about the fitness and more about the fun. Run, walk, and laugh your way through the race as you toss around UV neon glow powder. Wait, it get’s better! When you get to the finish line, the fun continues with black light zones and a black light run afterparty!
Did you know that Savannah, Georgia is the birth place of Grand Prix racing? Well now you do! And they’re bringing it back home this month with the Savannah Speed Classic. Taking place from October 23rd-25th, the Savannah Speed Classic, “…is a unique road race experience offering an intimate look at the inner workings of racing.” Whether you’re into being “fast & furious” or you’re simply looking for something fun to do, this is a great event for families and spectators alike.
