The Governor’s Ball – June 3-5 (New York City, NY)
Featuring an incredible lineup of musical acts like The Strokes, The Killers, Kanye West, and more, The Governor’s Ball also has an equally amazing food lineup to match. Curated by The Infatuation, the Gov Ball’s eats are seriously delicious, with the likes of Korilla BBQ, King of Pops, and Wafels & Dinges joining the ranks. You can chill out with an avocado sea salt ice cream sandwich from the creative genius that is Coolhaus or grab a bulgogi rice bowl with all the fixings from Korilla BBQ. Whatever you end up eating, rest assured that it’ll be exquisite.
Long Beach Vegan Food & Music Festival – June 4 (Long Beach, CA)
Spend a veggie-filled day by the ocean at the Long Beach Vegan Food & Music Festival, where SoCal herbivores will be able to listen to music and chow down on the best vegan dishes. Get your curry on with some butter tofu served over basamti rice from the India Jones Chow Truck while browsing through vegan body butters, soaps, oils, and apparel. Try not to fill up on too much naan before the chili cook off, where some of the best chefs in Long Beach will try their hand at cooking up some amazing, meat-free, dairy-free, homestyle chili.
Taste of 3 Cities – June 4 (Baltimore, MD) & June 25 (Philadelphia, PA)
Foodies in Baltimore and Philadelphia will find themselves uniting in June for the Taste of 3 Cities Food Truck Festival & Competition. The third city, Washington DC, is still TBD, but attendees at the other locations will have the chance to taste an incredible culinary lineup of the top food trucks in each city and vote for their favorite as part of the People’s Choice Award. The Cow and The Curd, last year’s champion, will be back again with their incredible authentic beer battered Wisconsin cheese curds, a definite must-try dish at the Taste of 3 Cities. You can also get in the summer BBQ mood with Oink and Moo’s pulled pork sliders topped with fresh slaw and their tangy homemade barbecue sauce while enjoying the best kind of competition – one that involves food!
Bonnaroo Music + Arts Festival – June 9-11 (Manchester, TN)
Tennessee’s best fest, Bonnaroo, is back at it again with their always incredible musical line-up of both classic rock and up-and-coming acts. Pearl Jam and Dead and Company will both take the stage in Manchester, as well as J.Cole, Ellie Goulding, and Leon Bridges in what’s sure to be an amazing weekend. Stop by the designated Food Truck Oasis for some gourmet food truck bites and enjoy a beautiful few days in the Volunteer state.
Time Out LA’s Donut Party – June 11 (Los Angeles, CA)
Come honor the best sweet treat around at Time Out LA’s Donut Party, where all of your wildest donut dreams will finally come true in one epic celebration. Sample some of the yummiest donut delicacies from bakeries and restaurants alike while sipping on hard cider and wine, or keep it traditional with a cup of coffee. Flash tattoos, DJs, and a raffle are some of the activities to partake in while digging into the best donuts Los Angeles has to offer, so make sure to come ready to party and ready to eat.
Atlanta Street Food & Music Festival – June 11 & 12 (Atlanta, GA)
Taking place at the beautiful Stone Mountain Park, the fifth annual Atlanta Street Food & Music Festival is the perfect event for friends and families to taste some gourmet food truck eats and spend a day outside. Multiple DJs and bands will be on hand to keep the party going, but one bite of a buttery Cousins Maine Lobster roll is all you need to start dancing with joy. Share the Blue Cheese Fries from The Fry Guy with a friend so that you’ll have room for some Watermelon Gazpacho served with a Spicy Bloody Mary Popsicle from the creative chefs at the Ibiza Bites truck. Other must-try trucks include The Atlanta Burger Truck, grilling up everyone’s favorite summer meal, and Yumbii, the electric blue truck slinging out Asian-Mexican-Southern flavors in the best way possible, trust us.
Chicago Food Truck Fest – June 25 & 26 (Chicago, IL)
Chi-town’s favorite food trucks will all be in attendance on June 25th and 26th at the annual Chicago Food Truck Fest at the South Loop Green Space. With trucks like Da Lobsta, Pierogi Wagon, Yum Dum Truck, and Chicago Cupcake dishing out their most delish creations, that summer body diet might just have to be put on hold for the weekend. Make sure to leave room for The Fat Shallot and their beloved Truffle BLT, a tomato, arugula, avocado, and housemade truffle aioli sandwich on thick Texas toast that is guaranteed to please the most devoted truffle fanatics.
