Pancakes Done the Right Way

Can’t make it out to get a short stack of the, oh-so-classic, buttermilk pancakes today? Don’t fret! This recipe will still hit the spot just right and have all of your friends and family wishing they stopped by your place instead.

These light and fluffy, cinnamon-y, banana-infused pancakes will have you floating around happily in breakfast heaven, at anytime of the day or night. But wait there’s more! Before diving into this recipe, ask yourself, “How chocolate wasted do I really want to get today?” and then proceed accordingly.

Banana Chocolate Chip Pancakes

 Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups of flour

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup milk

1 egg

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

2 ripe bananas, mashed

mini chocolate chips (as much as your heart desires)

Directions:

1. Preheat pan & whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl

2.Whisk together the milk, egg, oil and vanilla in a separate bowl and  add the wet ingredients to the dry

3. Add in the banana until combined and stir in the chocolate chips

4. Spray pan and add the pancake batter, amount depends on your size preference.

5. Cook the pancake until small bubbles surface, flip and continue cooking until they are light golden brown in color.
