About Bud's PoBoys
Chef Bud has been a long time resident of Austin Texas. Originally from Bogalusa Louisiana, Bud always had deep love of food and music. It was inevitable that he ended up in the Music Capital of the World!! Bud was a guitarist @ Studio in the Country in Bougalusa. He migrated to Baton Rouge and to LSU. Bud worked in many fine restaurants and honed his love for fine food. While continuing to absorb knowledge and education in the restaurant industry, Bud pursued music on the side and played in popular bands in Baton Rouge Louisiana. Most notably "Blue Light Special". Opportunity knocked and Bud moved to Austin Texas opening the "Blue Bayou" Restaurant. His talents expanded once again, and Bud became the long time Chef at Shoal Creek Saloon. Saints fans remember Chef Bud leading the cheers, rooting on the New Orleans Saints! Bud has received many accolades over the years and has been written up in the Austin Chronicle, Austin American Statesman and other publications. Now, Bud's new venture Bud's PoBoys will surely become a favorite of Austin and will be music to your mouth!!!
