EVOO Foods is unlike anything else in Orange County, CA. It's a food truck with an entire menu based around extra virgin olive oil, or EVOO to those in the know, serving dishes influenced by Italian, Mexican, and Asian cuisines. How did such a unique blending of cultures happen? It all goes back to 1936. Joseph Sciabica wanted to show California the wonders of extra virgin olive oil with Sciabica's Olive Oil. Fast forward five generations and – not only is the business still thriving – brothers Nicholas and Andrew Sciabica are attending culinary school. Here, they meet Deanna and Sunny, of Mexican and Asian heritage respectively. They form a culinary quartet and EVOO Foods is born.
Together, these four utilize specialty Sciabica's California Extra Virgin Olive Oil to bring out the flavors in their signature cuisine, resulting in a full bodied menu built to satisfy. Sample the specialty bacon mac 'n' cheese with a smoked gouda cheddar sauce in EVOO roux. Try any number of delectable tacos. You can nab a taco stuffed with braised chicken and walnuts all sprinkled in cumin for an extra blast of robust flavor. Or, if you're meat-free, enjoy a vegan taco filled with chickpea mash seasoned up with an EVOO vinaigrette. Don't forget to finish off your meal with a cookie made, of course, with olive oil. Mouth watering just reading this? Imagine what a visit'll do. Find EVOO Foods in Orange County, or have 'em cater your next event. Either way, this is one foodie experience you don't want to miss.
