Though it was originally conceived as a taco truck in 2016, it wasn’t until Austin Mills pivoted towards a life of burgers that Floyd’s Burgers & Sliders really found its footing. Today, the burger operation is living a life of griddled meat out of a food truck adorned with a very Syd Barrett-esque font in Eldridge, IA.
Their eponymous burgers and sliders are obviously hard to beat (you’ll want anything topped with giardiniera), but repeat visits demand a look at their sandwich menu — these guys are loaded with all kinds of tasty treats, ranging from corned beef and roasted chicken to fried eggs and garlic sauce.
