There’s not a lot to misunderstand at Hunger Sticks in Los Angeles, CA. Ailon Quon’s bright yellow truck has become a staple of the LA food scene, all thanks to their eponymous skewers.
Shrimp skewers your jam? Hunger Sticks has ‘em. Beef, lamb, or pork more your style? Those are in the mix, too. Need them all combined into one mega skewer? Better believe they’ve got that. Trying to go stick-less and live that rice bowl life? Hunger Sticks will hook you up. Craving a sweet finish? S’more sticks are a great move. Life is good when you’re at hunger sticks, so track them down in LA, or better yet, book them to cater your next event.

I wanted food on a stick, so I was trying all kinds of ideas to find a domain name. After an hour of searching, I said Hungry Sticks because I am always hungry.

I was trying to find a job after college. I worked for a friend at his food truck and loved it. It’s everything I wanted. Traveling around, all I can eat, and cooking.
My boyfriend was my biggest encouragement. He was there every step of the way and believed that I could do anything. If I couldn't, he would be right there.
My favorite event to cater for is the Galaxy Soccer Games. The best part about it is at the end of the night our customers walk by and yell "Yeah, Hunger Sticks!"
My favorite dish is The Hunger Stick. Who doesn't want a giant stick of juicy meat?
