What is the story behind your business' name?

Irie is a term used in Jamaica to greet someone; it also means everything is okay; easy going. We thought our name immediately welcomes our guests to our cuisine, so they know right away they are welcome, and their experience will be relaxing and fun. We wanted to sure to highlight that the cuisine was Jamaican, in case "Irie" did not provide that connection.

For Irie Jamaican Kitchen, it’s all about the flavors of the islands. Taking care to source fresh ingredients from local suppliers as often as possible, the Eugene-based food trailer is on a mission to transport you straight to Jamaica through their cooking.
