Jamaica's Kitchen serves authentic and original Jamaican cuisine on the Salt Lake City streets. Their simple story begins New Years Eve 2001 where they occupied a tent at SLC's First Night Festival. The weather was freezing but they completely sold out of their fresh, hot offerings in under two hours, all the while welcoming in 2002 with satisfied new friends. Since then their operations have evolved into restaurants and now a food truck, with locations from California to Hawaii and back to Utah, with many more food trucks on the horizon.
Today they're excited to offer a few of Jamaica’s number one dishes including Jerk Chicken BBQ, Oxtails, Fish Fry, Shrimp School, Curry Goat, Sweet Fried Plantains, etc.. and of course, their famous Beef Patty Empanadas. If you've still got room for dessert after digging into all this goodness, you've gotta try their No-Rum National Cake or Pineapple Upside Down Cake, or both.
