Lee’s Philly began with a journey by Chef Chris to “The City of Brotherly Love” to find the tastiest cheese steak sandwiches and to learn how they are made. After months of “research”, eating at all the top sandwich shops and observing in every kitchen he could get into, he came back to So. California with the magic formula for a great cheese steak sandwich and about 12 pounds and 2 inches. Leaning on his experience of owning a restaurant he decided to surf the wave of gourmet food trucks hitting the shores of So. Cal. knowing he could rip and curl with the best. Since February of 2010, Lee’s Philly has been serving tasty traditional cheese steaks and fusion cheese steaks, tacos, and burritos in LA and OC.
