Born and raised in Los Angeles, we always had the chance to eat burgers, hotdogs, tacos and burritos – we couldn’t get enough! However, we also couldn’t wait for weekends at our parent’s home. Being of Vietnamese descent, going home meant being surrounded by a wide array of mouthwatering Vietnamese food. One being Bánh Mì, which are Vietnamese sandwiches on fresh and crispy baguette. They were always a delicious treat with traditional flavors of lemongrass chicken and BBQ pork that were always succulent, but are an acquired taste that comes from our Vietnamese culture. The taste buds we obtain from the beautiful and diverse city of L.A. longed for something else – something new yet reminiscent of the types of food that we grew to love from our neighborhood. We couldn’t resist the delectable taste of Mexican food, so why not fuse cultures together? Los Angeles is our place of birth. Saigon, Vietnam is our roots. The birth of LOS SAIGON combines the scrumptious Vietnamese Bánh Mì with an alluring twist of L.A. flavor. With fascinating sandwiches like our signature CHINO LATINO, a unique and crispy Bánh Mì filled with succulent carne asada, our cuisine is just as charming as our fellow Angelenos!
