About Mamma Galli
Welcome to Mamma Galli Italian Food Truck. We offer authentic Tuscan recipes straight from the hills of Firenze. Like no other lasagna you've ever tasted made with homemade béchamel. Let the Galli family offer you a taste 'as if under the Tuscan sun' brought to you in Miami.
The Galli's, Natalino (Ciccio) and Aurora came to Miami from Italy in the 60's and were very hard workers with a goal and much determination. They were able to open their first restaurant in Homestead in 1973, Casa Galli Pizza, later followed Galli Italian Deli & Restaurant, in the South Dade shopping center and then due to Hurricane Andrew relocated to the Kendall area but after much demand returned to South Dade shopping center. The Galli's became a known family operated restaurant in the Palmetto Bay and Cutler Ridge area with reasonable prices and exquisite Italian food. When the Galli's decided to retire, many were disappointed......
so their son, Spartaco 'Sparky' Galli and his wife Kelly are now bringing back these great recipes and on wheels with the birth of Mamma Galli Authentic Tuscan Cuisine Food Truck.
Sparky and Kelly are as well true to the Italian heritage and were actually married in Florence, Italy at Palazzo Vecchio in the same room as his parents. They will be working the food truck along with the Galli's daughter, Manila Mosca. Both Manila and Sparky grew up in the kitchen and are very excited to bring back the Galli recipes through the next generation.
