The tripleta's the unofficial sandwich of the island. Like on the unofficial Puerto Rican flag, it's just a picture of a tripleta getting eaten fast, as that's what any rational person does with a tripleta. But as good as it is, La Mancha de Platano's not above trying to improve it. Namely, instead of bread, their tripleta's tucked between patties of mofongo, adding a sweet, savory & garlicky kick to the meat and seasoning, and adding an extra exhale of goodness to your reaction. Or five. It really increases your enjoyment is what we're getting at. By many local standards, on an island of tripletas, this might be the Holy Tripleta to rule them all. Of course, if tripletas aren't necessarily your thing, we'll get past judging you and instead point out that there's a wealth of other things to order at La Mancha - things like salads, soups, and er.....other ridiculously delicious sandwiches. Heavy slabs of meat and chicken, over fries and beside fries, and over/besides more mofongo also populate the menu. But, like, really try that tripleta....
