The Pizza Box Truck is roaming the streets of Sacramento and serving up gourmet pies. The thin crust, which is made from scratch, gets its subtle yet satisfying flavor from Hefeweizen beer. Their specialty pizzas include Southwestern Chicken, with caramelized onions, poblano chilies and creamy garlic sauce; The Steak and Bleu, with blackened steak, caramelized onions and creamy bleu cheese; and The Pesto, made with artichoke hearts, tomatoes and bell peppers. All pizzas are made in an oven that reaches 1000 degrees, and served fresh and hot to order.
