Roadies is a food truck with a rich history. It moved across three states over the course of four years before culinary couple William De Filippis and Erica Pratico found their bliss in Raleigh, NC. The pair started off in New York before rolling into Boston, hoping the city’s rich street food scene would help them find a larger audience. New England was good to William and Erica, Roadies soon becoming one of the most popular trucks in Boston. However, the pair still felt held back by winter, the cold weather halting operations for months at a time. So, they decided to roll into a sunnier side of the country. Now, you can catch Roadies serving up all things seafood down in North Carolina.
The menu sports the much beloved seafood staple that is ceviche, served up with sweet potatoes and plantain chips. They also have rice bowls aplenty, stuffed with ocean fresh fish plus a rich mix of seasonal salsa, buttermilk dressing, and mixed veggies. Looking for a sandwich? Sink your teeth into rolls stuffed with everything from beer-battered fish to succulent shrimp. Really, the food’s all delicious, the couple’s years worth of experience in the food industry shining through in the rich flavor of these eats. So hit the road in Raleigh to find Roadies, or have 'em out to cater your next event. It doesn't get better than this.
