Mark Carey grew up in sunny California, but has lived all across the country. After a stint in Hawaii during his time in the navy, Carey landed in Kansas City working for the National Weather Service. This is where he fell in love with barbecue. Eventually, his career led him back to Sacramento, CA, where he joined a local Lions Club and learned he loved dishing up tasty, smoky meats to large groups of people. Carey decided to go pro with his passion and opened Sac City Eats BBQ Catering. Now this trailer rolls into events across the Golden State dishing up an amazing spread of cookout fare.
