Shortstop BBQ is the tangible realization of a passion and dream that we were born with.
We are young people with a passion and appreciation for food done right. Founding brothers Andrew and Alex Honoré, along with Andrew’s wife Mary, are the owners, energy, and creative genius behind Shortstop BBQ—a product that is so much more than “good.” It is our hope and our mission to bring you delicious “dirty” BBQ with a clean, California appeal. Andrew and Alex have collectively served over a dozen years in the restaurant industry, always driven by passions for great food and fantastic service. Looking for ways to become better at their trade, the boys came up with the idea to start their own business, and after months of conceptualizing, experimenting, and planning, Shortstop BBQ opened its doors as a catering company in February 2010. We believe in real food for real people, and that is our promise to you.
