Simply put, Shortys is NYCs most authentic Philly Cheesesteak. We have been here in NYC since 2005 when we opened our 1st restaurant on 9th Ave. in Hells Kitchen. In October of 2011 we opened our 2nd location on Madison Ave. and 27th St. We are now proud to announce the arrival of Shortys On Wheels our new Mobile Food Truck! We have taken The most important element of a cheesesteak, the bread and perfected it! We proudly serve our Cheesesteaks and other South Philly favorites on Philedelphias own LeBus Bakery Bread. We have the bread shipped up daily and bake it off FRESH all day long. Each restaurant and the new Shortys On Wheels is equipped with a bread oven to ensure the highest quality and freshest product available!!!!! The roast pork is succulent and delicious. Try it with our homemade broccoli rabe and provolone cheese. Don’t be afraid of CHEESE WHIZ on your cheesesteak. Whiz with Fried Onions is as “Philly” as it gets! Add some spicy Italian hot peppers for a real kick. If you don’t eat red meat, try the “chicken steak” – a Philly term for chopped, grilled chicken. Vegetarians fear not! You will love our broccoli rabe and veggie combo sandwiches with provolone cheese. The sliders are awesome, too!
