About the Founders: Both Virginia born and raised, founders Gauri and Michelle are proud to bring a locally owned food truck to the streets they grew up on. Combining flavors taken from their moms’ kitchens with treasured tastes found along their culinary adventures, the girls make it their mission to deliver tasty and affordable food to the people that they love.
Gauri is a George Mason Alum who studied Communication and Public Relations. After graduation, she swapped her diploma for a chef’s knife and fry basket. Her favorite ingredient is cilanto and she has a serious obsession with elephants.
Michelle graduated from Virginia Tech where she studied Finance and Statistics. She had a corporate career in finance and sales before trading in her heels and suits to put her love and labor into something her own. Her shoulders are double jointed, and she may even show you if you visit her at the truck service window.
