About Houston Food Trucks
In this “Space City” food trucks are definitely taking off. Though the city did impose some legislative restrictions on mobile vendors, Houston residents loved food trucks so much that a non-profit organization, “Save Our Food Trucks,” was created to keep the industry alive and booming. Today there are well over 900 food trucks in the Houston area. You can find these trucks all over the city, from the University of Houston campus, to the Sam Houston Race Park. Every first Friday of the month, Crawford Street is home to a different selection of delicious food trucks and features indoor and outdoor seating. Houston food trucks offer a wide variety of meals; some of their most popular food trucks are the Waffle Bus (serving up both sweet and savory bites), Bernie’s Burger Bus (specializing in all-natural burgers crafted from scratch), and Kurbside Eatz (delivering yummy wings, wraps, tacos and much more.) You can bet if you’re looking for it, Houston has it. Click on our map to start your food truck journey.
