Abunai

Abunai is here to show the mainland (or at least DC, but you know, trends in this town have a way of spreading nationally) what Hawaiian culture in all its glory, or at least the immediately relevant parts. The parts that you can take anywhere. The parts you can eat, we mean. From poi to kalua to poke and beyond, Abunai's got the diverse goods of a diverse island, and it's not shy with sharing them. Customization is king here, with choice of mochiko chicken, kalua pig & cabbage, tofu poke, or spam katsu musubi over base of your choice, paired with the sides of your choice. Choice is a big Hawaiian staple too, apparently. The most important choice you have to make is to just say yes to Abunai when you see them out. Thankfully, it's the easiest choice to make.
