Alda Grill brings authentic Uruguayan street food to Hardyston with recipes rooted in Carlos’s early years learning from his mother Alda, whose kitchen shaped his skills with warmth, patience, and tradition. The truck channels that spirit through skirt steak chivitos, chicken chivitos, and hot dogs prepared three memorable ways, each one reflecting the comfort of family cooking passed down through generations.

Empanadas add another trio of crave worthy choices with beef criollas studded with olives and raisins, ham and cheese with a creamy center, and sweet offerings filled with dulce de leche or guava. Every item is crafted with the same intention Alda once put into her own meals, giving guests flavors that feel grounded, honest, and carefully made.

Alda Grill continues Carlos’s dream by serving Sussex County with grilled classics, fried favorites, and cherished recipes that carry Uruguayan roots straight to the streets.
