When macarons first stole Alexandra Greenwald’s heart, she was just a middle schooler looking through the bakery case of her local French bakery. Many cooking, baking, and culinary jobs and school years later, you’ll find her slinging her own famous macarons in Seattle, WA out of a bright pink 1973 VW Bus, lovingly dubbed Gertrude.
Greenwald’s macaron list is always changing, but she’s made everything from Red Velvet and Blood Orange Vanilla Creamsicle to Rainbow Funfetti and Double Chocolate Sea Salt.
