What is the story behind your business' name?
Growing up as a child in Tuscaloosa Alabama (ROLL TIDE !!) I was always in the kitchen helping and watching my grandmothers cook and praying that one day I could cook just like them. I began to bake cookies and brownies for my family and friends. As I continued to get rave reviews, I started catering for church organizations and providing my services and desserts for bake sales that were very successful. I began to receive all kind of compliments and accolades. Baking is My Passion. A passion that I've decided to step out on faith with and April's Sweet Shoppe was created. A life long dream that has now come true. Keeping God first at all times.

This fancy, flavor-driven food truck also has a storefront that serves a wonderfully fulfilling assortment of appetizing treats. The owner grew up in Alabama helping her grandmothers cook incredible cuisine. They inspired her to begin baking her own cookies, brownies, and cakes for her family which eventually led to the creation of this mouthwatering mobile kitchen. Since 2019 they've been sharing sugary confections with extremely satisfied customers. Whether it's the homemade banana pudding, the charmingly chocolate turtle brownies, the strawberry crunch cheesecake, assortments of chewy cookies, or our favorites, the chocolate-covered strawberries, you're guaranteed a good and gooey time.
