Mike and Pat O’Brien spent years taking their six kids to a local bagel shop in their Pennsylvania neighborhood, making fond family memories in the process. Upon moving to West Palm Beach, FL, the pair sorely missed this tradition. As their kids grew older, Mike and Pat began longing to start their own business and leave behind a legacy for their kids and grandkids. When they settled on getting into the food industry, the choice of cuisine was obvious. The next time you’re hankering for pristine iterations of this breakfast staple, stop on by Bagel Boyz. Every item at Bagel Boyz is made to order in house. The menu stays true to Mike and Pat’s roots, giving off an east coast deli vibe what with the myriad of classic sandwiches served between bagels in lieu of bread. Mike and Pat make their bagels from scratch from only five ingredients – flour, sugar, salt, water, and yeast – to ensure there’s no acerbic, chemical-laden aftertaste in these masterpieces.
