Tim Droege came to Los Angeles for business school in 2013 and soon found himself enchanted with the city’s Japanese cuisine. Developing a particular fondness for sushi, he eventually decided to attend The Katsuya Sushi School and learn the trade himself. The training paid off, as evident by the delicious sushi Tim and his team now whip up at Barazen.
A sit-down restaurant and catering company, Barazen specializes in merging Japanese tradition with California cuisine to create one-of-a-kind hand-rolled sushi. The menu sports all your favorite seafood stuffings. Think blue crab, yellowtail tuna, and salmon. Plus, there are veggie rolls to satisfy the meat-free crowd. Add a little French flare for dessert with the classic rum and vanilla-flavored pastry that is the canelé and enjoy. Sound like an ideal meal? Then we’ve got good news – Barazen caters, so don’t hesitate to book ‘em for your next event.
