The Argentine choripán consists of a sausage made out of beef, pork and Malbec wine, hot off the grill, split down the middle, and served on a roll with chimichurri or Chimi-Q.

EMPANADAS (Eh-M-Pah-nah-dahs)
Baked or fried, filled with the customer's choice of protein and hardboiled eggs, onions, green olives, and spices. EMPANADAS (Eh-M-Pah-nah-dahs) are not all created equal. These baked or fried, stuffed pies fit into the palm of your hand and are stuffed to the brim with Argentine passion and authenticity. Our empanadas are filled with a corn, meat, or spinach base complimented by a blend of hard boiled eggs, onions, green olives, and spices and then sealed in the traditional “repulgue” technique. As a final touch, the empanadas are brushed with egg to give them a flaky golden crust. Though these are typically baked in the Argentine tradition to allow the consumer to enjoy their soft, filo-like consistency, Barroluco will fry them upon request. What’s the difference? Baking the empanadas allows for the filling to permeate the dough adding to the richness of flavors, while frying directly cooks the dough and offers a different experience.
