Bayou Bao Co., a food trailer in Lafayette, LA, started as a passion project in late 2023 by a dedicated couple. Officially opening in March 2024, the food trailer quickly gained a loyal following, even before serving their first bao. Bayou Bao Co. brings a unique fusion of international culinary flavors and Cajun culture to the community, specializing in handmade bao and dumplings crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

The menu at Bayou Bao Co. features an array of enticing options, including their signature Bayou Bao, which combines in-house boudin with pepper jack cheese, served with a sweet chili sauce.
