What is the story behind your business' name?
In 2018, founder and CEO, Isaac Hamlin, was playing rugby and working on a business management degree at University of Kentucky. In an effort to improve his game, Isaac started looking for more efficient alternative to the heavy meals the team loaded up on before matches. This search led him to smoothies, but he discovered that traditional smoothies lacked the protein, complex carbs, and fiber needed to keep him fueled through the whole match-plus they came with an energy-zapping sugar crash. He tried protein shakes but the flavor and texture left a lot to be desired. So Isaac set out to make his own smoothie recipes! Fast forward through much trial and error, Isaac finally succeeded in making a tasty, filling, low sugar and nutrient-rich smoothie. Armed with the right fuel, he went on to be names a first-team All-American rugby player.
