Brass Kitchen is the brainchild of Chef Mick Braskich, whose travels have taken him from the Grosse Ille Yacht Club to the Ritz Carlton to countless Michigan hotspots in-between, allowing him to refine his craft and prepare his greatest weapon. One that happens to be made of brass. Brass Kitchen specializes in street food that redefines street food; tickling your taste buds even as it soothes them. It's the kind of food that looks familiar, smells familiar and even tastes familiar before breaking & giving way to the new, the strange and the boundary-pushing. From burgers to grilled cheese to fritters and beyond, it's comfort food that pushes you out of your comfort zone. Comfortably. And it's all Trenton's.
* The Grilled Cheese, with Irish aged cheddar, Guinness-soaked caramelized onions and slow-roasted tomatoes, jammed between two toasted loaves of Avalon's red ale bread.
* Honey Chicken Sandwich, topped with crisp bacon, baby swiss, aged cheddar and apple slices, doused together in a mustard aioli.
