About Camo Hippie Chowhall

Camo Hippie Chowhall has an interesting name and an even more interesting backstory. Founded by former Miss USA 1991 Kelli McCarty Oseen, Camo Hippie Chowhall brings together everything she loves: her love of cooking for others and her love of the military, with loving support from her husband who's a veteran of the Gulf War. Together, they created Camo Hippie Chowhall: a food truck that throws together grub and gourmet eats on the streets of Temple, TX and beyond. Featuring a menu full of all American classics (of course), you'd be hard pressed to find any better food anywhere. No really. Camo Hippie Chowhall recently won The Food Truck Championship of Texas for their excellent street food. Pretty amazing, right? Find Camo Hippie Chowhall, or have the truck out to cater. Either way, this is a must try in our book.
