When Keith and Judy got married, they wanted to honor both of their heritages with their choice of caterer. Keith is Trinidadian American while Judy comes from a Puerto Rican and Dominican background. Despite the diversity of New York City, NY’s food scene, the pair couldn’t find a caterer they felt adequately reflected their cultures. While their big day was still a success, the experience of wedding planning inspired them to go into the catering business themselves. And so, CaSpanish was born. This food cart and catering company is here to roll into your next event with an eclectic mix of Caribbean and Spanish cuisine.
The menu is truly massive, paying homage to Keith and Judy’s background with a rich mix of cuisine. If you’re planning an early morning event, you can grab breakfast staples like mangu, a traditional Dominican breakfast made up of salami, fried cheese, eggs, and red onions. Want some tasty bite-sized eats for your guests? There’s a whole range of savory appetizers like the tasty croquette that is a papa rellena. If you're planning a dinner, there are plenty of traditional dishes made from juicy meats, rice, beans, and plantains. And, naturally, there’s all things empanada, with both sweet and savory varieties of this classic Latin American fare. Sound delicious? Then book CaSpanish for your next event. Guests will thank you.
