Chazito's Latin Cuisine is a revolutionary food truck in Savannah, GA. Or should we say, two. Two food trucks that serve up authentic Puerto Rican cuisine with a modern foodie twist, completely inventive, all original, and totally delicious.
And it's all coming to you from native Pennsylvanian Chaz Ortiz who knows a thing or to when it comes to feeding the masses. He grew up in a large ethnic Puerto Rican family, attending boisterous events that were all centered around food. It was here that he got bitten by the foodie bug, deciding to perfect his family's timeless recipes while stamping them with his own personal twist. Thus, Chazito's Latin Cuisine was born, to much success. Start your meal off right with his mini empanadas, stuffing in the likes of beef, chicken, avocado and even pizza fillings inside that flaky pastry shell. From there, it's no telling how you'll get your fill, as Chazito's has all that famed street fare to tantalize your tastebuds. Take, for example, the Boricua burrito loaded with Spanish rice and beans and your choice of protein with both crispy and sweet plantains in the mix. Not to mention loaded yuca fries smothered in queso, slow roasted pork and beef. He's even got Puerto Rican lasagna on board, along with mofongo and too much else to list out here. You'll just have to find Chazito's Latin Cuisine in Savannah, or have 'em out to cater your next event. You'd be crazy not to.
Yuca-To-Be-Kidding - this aptly named signature dish is a Latin-style Shepard's pie, made up of garlic mashed yuca, mixed veggies and your choice of meat with a side of creamy coleslaw
