Born in Peru, Luis learned to love food from a very young age. He grew up watching his grandmother Chella cook traditional meals for the family. Later in life, after immigrating to Lancaster, PA, he found his culture was underrepresented in the city’s food scene. He decided to rectify that error with the help of a food trailer. Now, you can catch Luis rolling through the city serving up traditional Peruvian fare and Venezuelan-style arepas. The menu sports loads of traditional Venezuelan dishes, like honey-roasted BBQ pulled pork and grilled chicken accented with a generous dose of chimichurri.
