What is the story behind your business' name?

Cherry Street is the name of the street that I grew up on in Pittsburgh, PA and that is where most of my dreams began to sprout.

Where did you learn to cook?

I learned the cold brewing process by watching others who already do it successfully and then established my own ratios of coffee to water to yield a consistently delicious cold brew.

Why did you decide to start your business?

I've always had an entrepreneurial dream, even as a child. I would say that I wanted to be a Snow Cone Lady when I grow up because there was a little orange snow cone truck that would serve snow cones to people on my grandma's street & I thought it was the coolest thing! I tend to chase clean coffee wherever I go, from city to city. I love stumbling upon coffee shops that offer organic coffee, non dairy options & delicious house made syrups like lavender or rosemary. I wanted to do something mobile and wellness focused, so 12 years after I completed a Holistic Health Coach training program and became certified, my organic nitro cold brew coffee brand was born! My cold brew is mindfully brewed using a mold and mycotoxin free brand of coffee beans and I use spring water! The end product is so refreshing & you can really taste the high quality of my product. I love the freedom to be creative & to share a little piece of myself as a health coach in my small business.

I was highly encouraged by the entrepreneurs who also completed the health coach training program at IIN, like i did. Many of them inspired me to step into the small business space.

I have loved being part of several women's wellness and mindfulness events through a group called The Beauty Boost.
