Cocina Mia's not just one of the most unique food trucks in Puerto Rico, it's by far one of the largest. Which is one of the things that makes it unique, we suppose. We're just getting more specific now. To get even more specific - you can actually eat inside this truck, since it's less a truck and more a modified school bus, plastered with enough wood to turn it into a mobile cabin. Run by a husband and wife team of chefs, the food's too sophisticated to be eaten on the curb anyway. Or maybe you could, but it'd be weird and messy and look, do you wanna eat this meal inside a school bus modified to look like a log cabin or do you not, it's an easy question.
The menu rotates daily, but Puerto Rican specialties like mofongo and risotto compliment generous portions of salmon, chicken and short rib, doused in sauce and seasoned with a whole lotta love. Again the chefs are married, after all. Cocina Mia's an experience unlike any on the island and takes you somewhere odd, extravagant and adventurous, all at once. All you've gotta do to go there too is get on the bus.
