Deep fried battered cod cooked to perfection, served on a sweet French roll with lettuce and homemade tartar sauce. We suggest adding Swiss cheese, coleslaw or both!

Five breaded fantail shrimp deep fried in our 100% trans fat free, peanut oil.

About Codfather

Carlo Schmitt grew up working with his parents in their bakery. This fostered a lifelong love of the food industry. In adulthood, he managed a fish and chips restaurant, eventually marrying his co-worker, Kerri. The pair relocated to Reno, NV to raise a family, but Carlo did not let his seafood skills go to waste. He still whipped up clam chowder and more for friends and family. Popularity spread rapid-fire, inspiring Carlo and Kerri to go pro with Codfather. Now, they serve up a bounty of oceanic eats on the streets in their very own food truck. Naturally, the menu sports cod, coated in a savory batter and served up with crinkle-cut fries. However, Carlo’s culinary repertoire now extends well beyond fish and chips. You can grab an order of fish tacos sprinkled with cotija cheese and cilantro. Or, try a reuben sandwich that swaps out the corned beef for fried cod. For an appetizer, you can get all things deep-fried, from clams to shrimp to oysters. However, the menu’s not all surf. There’s a thick pastrami sandwich to sample if you want a little turf. In addition to serving up all this deliciousness out of their truck, Carlo and Kerri cater.
