What is the story behind your business' name?

"Comeback Kitchen" represents the comeback that our adult culinary students have made in their lives through our adult workforce program, Food Jobs Work. Many of them have gone from homelessness to security; from addiction to pride in a healthy life. For us, working in a kitchen isn't just a method of survival. It's a transformation to a whole new life.

About Comeback Kitchen

Comeback Kitchen is a nonprofit catering and prep meal operation based in Little Rock, AR, serving up scratch-made meals with a mission. Through their sister organization, Food Jobs Work, and its unique 12-week culinary training program, adults facing barriers to employment learn the skills needed to succeed in professional kitchens. Comeback Kitchen's catering and prep meal services are part of the students' hands-on training, where they learn to operate and manage foodservice operations while supporting the workforce training programs of Food Jobs Work. All catered events and meals are also fully supervised by professional chefs who ensure the quality of every bite and the perfection of every detail.
