What is the story behind your business' name?

I've always wanted to be my own boss but, I have also always wanted to give back to my community. At the time I started my business, I was actually going to school myself. My kids were all in school learning about scholarships and such. That's when it hit me. Cupcakes for College. I can create with desserts, make people happy, and give back all at the same time!

Founder, Olympia, is whipping up everything from elegantly dipped Rice Krispies treats to decadent Oreo caramel apples to chocolate-dipped pretzel sticks, and way, way beyond.

They regularly donate portions of their proceeds to Cal-SOAP (California Student Opportunity and Access Program), which focuses on giving underserved students the best possible chance at a higher education.
