What is the story behind your business' name?

We named ourselves Delicious Bites because each mini donut is the perfect bite! They're fresh, warm, and packed with flavor!

Why did you decide to start your business?

After years or workaholism behind the computer and running a coaching agency Ron had become very burnout. We decided to give that business away, and take a long sabbatical to rest and find new passions. After sharing the vision for a mini donut shop with a friend, she said, "how much do you need?" I told her the amount and she said, "great! God told me to give you the money." Within a few minutes we had the money in hand and the next day we bought all the equipment and everything you need to run a mini donut shop.

Meet Delicious Bites, a family-run mini donut business based in Lebanon Borough, New Jersey. Founded by Ron and Diane—lifelong Hunterdon County locals—this sweet venture was born from a love of community, family, and the simple joy of a warm, fresh mini donut. After marrying in 2017 and welcoming their daughter in 2022, the couple began exploring local fairs and festivals through the eyes of new parents, rediscovering the magic of their hometown. Inspired by a friend in the donut world, Ron and Diane launched Delicious Bites in 2024 to bring that same joy to events across the region. Their mission is to make community gatherings more fun, accessible, and flavorful—one batch of mini donuts at a time. Keep an eye out for them in Spring 2025 as they roll into another season of sweet local fun!
