About El Burrito Mercado
When Tomas & Maria Silva opened their tiny El Burrito Mercado space in 1979, they had no idea just what it would become. The immigrants from Aguascalientes, Mexico moved to St. Paul, MN to share the flavors of their hometown, and almost 30 years later they had practically doubled their space, opened a home decor shop, added a cantina and expansive patio, and launched a food truck. El Burrito on Wheels has been spreading love and Mexican food (those are synonyms) throughout the Twin Cities ever since.
They’re playing the hits at the Burrito Mercado truck, offering catering options with classics all across the board. Tamales? Bingo, they’ve got those. Taco and fajita platters? Bango, they’re rocking those too. Guisado-style stews, like birria and tinga de pollo? Bongo, those are in the mix. You really can’t go wrong, so get El Burrito on Wheels to cater your next event, and bring the legacy of family flavors with you. Your guests will be all like, “yum”.
