Fahsyrah's Lemonade Shoutouts

• “I have received the most excellent customer service that I have had ALL YEAR LONG. I know what you are thinking: 'It's only January. How good could it have been?' ...I am prepared to tell you all about it.
  On a bright and muddy, weekend I went to the food truck rodeo. Not because I was hungry (I was warned that the lines were too deep to get through and I ate beforehand), but because like a post-apocalyptic plague victim I am drawn to large crowds and music.
  And although I had eaten, everything smelled so good I just had to get something! I waited in many lines, only to get to the front 10 minutes later and find out that they were out of everything except for fried lard sticks, or mushrooms or whatever the one thing on the menu was that no one else wanted to eat.
  It was hot, under my 6 winter coats, with the sun mysteriously warming everything but not shining very much. By the end of three lines I knew I had to get some kind of sugar in me before I tried to trapse back home.
  So I wound my way around the lines of people, looking for the shortest route to calories. When I saw, on this cloudy day, a little cart of sunshine. Fahsyrah's lemonaid stand had only two people in line. Of course, when I got to the front my credit card would not work, and I didn't have any cash. "Just take it," said the woman behind the counter. She stood behind her cart with a jug on top raising money for her daughter's college event. Here I was in front of this swarm of people who could be giving her all this dough so her daughter can have a proper college experience and she is trusting that I will come back and try my card again in a few minutes and not just wander off and pass out on the side of the hill in a sugar coma.
  I did come back, many icy cold sips later. She tried my card again and this time it worked. She thanked me for coming back in a way that made me think that she didn't really expect me to. SHE WAS SO GENEROUS!!!
  Days go by. I had managed to extract myself from the event with two overpriced, under sized, way to spicy tacos from another vender. Of course Fahsyrah would never under pour her servings. She serves the large cups of lemonade in LARGE cups. But the story does not end with generous lemonade portions.
  I eventually noticed that the first two tries of my credit card did go through, and I was mistakenly overcharged. So, I went to their web page and found an e-mail address to write to. I told them the problem and probably less than an hour later I received a response. One Ms. Sylvia Knight got in touch with me and in no time she had refunded my money, and offered me a free lemonade the next time I came by...
  I REFUSED THE FREE LEMONADE! For I had been given a gift so much more precious and rare than Fahsyrah's ever flowing lemony goodness...I had been given THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I HAVE RECEIVED ALL YEAR LONG.
  So, if you are thirsty, and you are at the food truck rodeo, please stop by and see Fahsyrah's Lemonade stand. Maybe you will just get lemonade...but maybe...just maybe...you will get something more.” - laceymusic
