Yes, Family Crepes is registered for catering and/or vending events on Roaming Hunger. In terms of availability, we don't manage their calendar. The best way to find out if they're available is to fill out your event information and see if they respond.

What is the story behind your business' name?

Family Crepes was born from something simple but very powerful: the love and unity of our family. We wanted to create a business that represented love, hard work, and joyful moments shared around dessert. We chose the name “Family Crepes” because, for us, every crepe, waffle, and dessert is a way to bring people together and make them feel at home. We are a Latino immigrant family that came to the United States with dreams, fears, and a strong desire to build a better future. This food truck represents our story, our sacrifices, and our hope of creating something meaningful while making people happy through our flavors.

Where did you learn to cook?

A big part of what we know started at home, learning from Bibi’s mom. She was the one who inspired our love for cooking and taught us that food made with love can bring people together and create unforgettable memories. More than recipes, she taught us dedication, patience, and the importance of serving others with heart. Many of the ideas and flavors that are part of Family Crepes today come from those special family moments in the kitchen. Every dessert carries a little piece of our roots and the lessons she passed down to us.

Why did you decide to start your business?

We decided to start our business because we wanted to build something of our own and prove that dreams can come true through hard work and perseverance. As Latino immigrants, we came to this country searching for opportunities and a better future for our family. We knew it would not be easy, but we wanted to turn our determination into something that could also inspire others. Family Crepes was born from long nights, sacrifices, and faith, but also from our passion for creating joyful experiences for people. Every smile from a customer reminds us why we started this journey.

Who encouraged you the most to start your own business?

Our greatest inspiration was our family, especially Bibi’s mom. She always believed in us, even during moments when we doubted ourselves. She taught us that honest work, family unity, and perseverance can open incredible doors. Our desire to grow together as a couple and build something meaningful also motivated us to take this step. Family Crepes is not just a business; it is the result of love, sacrifice, and shared dreams.

What's your favorite event that you've catered for?

One of our favorite experiences has been participating in festivals and community events in Charlotte because we love seeing people from different cultures come together around our desserts. We especially enjoy family-friendly and community events where we get to see smiles, excited children, and people creating happy memories together. For us, every event is an opportunity to share a little piece of our culture and our story with the community.
