What is the story behind your business' name?

We are real Foodies, we would drive 1 hour plus to go get the right quality food that we think we deserve when we order take out. Because of this we consider our selves true foodies always willing to experiment with bold flavors even when we cook our own, that is how the name was born, we are foodies using our kitchen as a laboratory, it can be tacos, hot dogs with a mexican twist , the concept was not defined but we knew we wanted to cook quality food.

Family-owned and community-focused, Foodies Lab Kitchen brings crowd-pleasing Mexican street food to events throughout Heath, TX and the surrounding area. Since launching in 2024, Ruth and Akshay have built a reputation for dependable service and flavorful food, serving everyone from schools and churches to hospitals and corporate campuses. Their experience at a wide variety of events allows them to keep service efficient while creating a fun atmosphere guests naturally gather around.

The menu showcases fan-favorite elote creations and customizable specialties packed with flavor. Guests can enjoy corn served in multiple sizes or on the cob, then personalize it with toppings like Hot Cheetos, Takis Fuego, or Doritos Dust. Popular selections include the Elote Chorreado, Volcano, and Nachos, Corn & Meat Tray, with options for pastor, beefsteak, or chicken. These bold combinations deliver the comforting flavors of Mexican street food with plenty of opportunities to mix and match.
