Yes, Get Smashed is registered for catering and/or vending events on Roaming Hunger. In terms of availability, we don't manage their calendar. The best way to find out if they're available is to fill out your event information and see if they respond.

What is the story behind your business' name?

Your best bad decision. Born on a hot day at Buckin’ Ohio with long lines, slow hands, and burgers that people couldn’t stop talking about. Get Smashed is the first food truck under the Creekbend Wagon Wheel name — and the dream of two brothers-in-law, Alan and Jimi, who always talked about opening a food spot together. In April 2025, they finally did it — bought a trailer and hit the road with one mission: Serve the food they love, cooked to perfection, unforgettable from the very first bite. You’ll catch them at Buckin’ Ohio events, popping up at spots like Fiddlestix Billiard Café in Canton, and slinging smashburgers, fried bologna, grilled cheese, and more at local gigs all over the place. They also cater private parties, weddings, and corporate events — just shoot them a DM. The vibe? Fun. Loud. Fast. Friendly. The kind of place where the crew’s roasting each other, laughing with customers, and making sure you walk away full and smiling. Whether you’re chasing burgers or a good time, you’ll find both when you Get Smashed.

Where did you learn to cook?

We've had a love for cooking our whole lives. We get so excited when we make something and people try and smile, and say "that's the best I've ever had." The more we hear that, the more it drives us to find new recipes that just make people smail and say, "that's the best I've ever had."

Why did you decide to start your business?

People have always insisted we jump on the grill and make our smashburgers, fried bologna, hotdogs, etc. We've always wanted to own a restaurant. So we decided, let's just take our amazing burgers and other recipes on the road where we can go to different locations and meet new people every day and share the food we love.

Who encouraged you the most to start your own business?

Our family. We are family first, and our family has always believed in us and pushed us to be the best we can. Our family believed in us at the times when we didn't believe in ourselves. They push us every day, and everything we do is for them.

What's your favorite event that you've catered for?

Wow! We have a story for this. Our family owns a bull-riding rodeo in Burbank, OH called Buckin' Ohio. We got our license and certification just in time for our second event of the year. Our rodeo brings in around 4k or 5k people per event with only like four different actual food vendors. At this event, one vendor backed out at the last minute, we were one of three. All our food is made to serve. This was our very first event and we were over-staffed, but, NONE OF US knew what we were doing!! We've never done this before, had no system in place, and we were so slow and inefficient. It was about 100 degrees, 130 inside the truck. Several of us almost passed out. But we powered through. Despite the long wait time, people getting the wrong orders, everyone still loved us and our food. There were very few complaints and everyone said it was well worth the chaos.
