About Good Bad Delicious
Michael Van Staden, originally from South Africa, attended culinary school in Washington DC and has worked under some of the most prestigious chefs in the industry. Raquel Van Staden, born and raised on a Northern California organic rice farm, fell in love with travel and food during a visit to Japan. The couple spent several years traveling the world, working aboard cruise ships and in Michelin-starred restaurants before deciding to embark on their own culinary journey with GBD.
At GBD, the focus is on using fresh, local ingredients to create street food dishes that are anything but ordinary.
